So many do not read/study Hosea. Totally enjoy Hosea like so many other books. Read the word, daily. Jesus loves you. Stay focused on Jesus, remember what happened to Peter when he was walking to Jesus? Took his eyes off him and started to sink. So keep focused on Him. God bless.

I was blessed to grow up using a King James Bible and always felt that it was the best translation, but thought -maybe I just liked it better because I grew up with it. I am so grateful for your edification of why the King James Bible is THE Bible to share with people and encourage them to read. Now I have some meat to add to my feelings about the King James Bible. Thank you!  I'm 70 now and very grateful for all the edification that you so graciously  share with us
My husband and I are very active in a Bible believing Church where he teaches. He started expository but has now branched out a bit.

My aunt married a Hindu that worships a blue elephant god/idol. She put both of her baby sons in that idol's arms. I did NOT attend that ceremony. Broke my heart. I later had to go no contact with that side of the family. She got crazier and crazier and more narcissistic than I could handle. I still pray for her to find the error of her ways and turn to Jesus. We are both elderly now though. She being older than I. But what if when she was young and the Christian family we grew up in might have influenced her. Perhaps God claimed her and she gave her life to Jesus as a youth? I'll not know until I get to Heaven if she makes it or not. Her kids never were taught much about their mother's side. They were encouraged to make their own religious choices. Not sure how that turned out...those children I helped raise have forsaken me. God never has! He sent angels to me, in public! None saw the two but myself though. When I was 6 months into a abusive marriage of constant rape, beatings, starvation, isolation, and near death. I was prepared to die to keep the vow I made to God and that thing I married. Who had a baby with another woman while we were married. The angel held my face in her hands and told me I would make the right choice. That I would get a chance to live on. That came about and I did divorce him after barely escaping with my life. Now I am married to a wonderful, loving, and godly man. I fell into addiction and I did sin so bad and was an adulterer briefly during our marriage. I paid a huge price for that. and I know I will be judged for all my sins...but Jesus has paid for them on the cross. My name is written in the book of life. I don't expect much if anything for the good deeds I did do in this awful life I endured. As a survivor of childhood sexual and all other abuses you can think of, I will be so grateful for the peace of just being in Heaven. Even if it's only a small spot not big enough to sit down on. Jesus says he's gone to prepare a place for us. Whatever He allows me I will be forever grateful! Count it all joy. I love to study the Bible with you Bro. Breaker!
