My dad kicks things off by hanging a brand-new quarter panel skin and tackling a series of rust repairs, dings and dents. Once that's done, it’s my turn to take over with layers of primer and endless hours of block sanding to get the body just right. Thankfully, ‪@BuffsGarage‬ showed up to help with the project. We wrap it all up and spray the car’s original 3K Blue Glow Poly paint, and the transformation is nothing short of spectacular.

I know your channel philosophy is to show your viewers a job can be good enough and still achieve a fun result, but watching your dad demonstrate his virtuosity was a treat.

I am 19 and I have had this old bmw I have been meaning to learn to paint on for about a year but I hadn't gotten around to it yet. After watching this video I got so motivated I have now sanded and done my first ever bodywork and bondo repairs on the entire car. Thanks to you I might have a nice car someday and you really motivated me to atleast try.

I ran a large Body Shop for years, I have to say, Dalton’s Dad is certainly a professional body man, Dalton knows more than a lot of men that worked for us over the years with certifications. Bottom line is, you have to take your time, make sure you get the body in the best possible condition before you start to shoot any paint. Above all, make sure your surface is straight, clean, and prepared properly.
Great job Dalton and Dad! Love your show, it’s my go to now.
