Thanks lady. ❤

I know this is an old video but a flower sifter works very well for creating fine sand.

Excellent video. So interesting. Thank you!

This is a very useful video.  I learned all about lost wax casting in college but i never learned sand casting.  Excellent tutorial! ❤

I’m always fascinated by homemade sand solid casting it’s incredible the complexity of the artistry and craftsmanship in making random jewellery or rings great 👍 prep

Thank you for posting.

Baby powder works the same way.

Thank you teacher

I'm learning thanks for the video,, I enjoyed it

Wow.. high Lindsay.. so enchanting..

Thank you this is the first i have actually looked into sandcasting after reading a book on the subject and doing some over the last month. ( i went with the The Complete Handbook of Sand Casting which has some good information but is from 1974 and more about green sand casting) you can make a sprue (a funnle shaped object) out of wood or plastic to create the pouring basin for your cast and you can use a bellows to blow out any sand left in it(i have not tried this yet).

Thank you ❤❤ dear friend

Good evening my love, I am from Algeria, I like your skill, I want to learn, thank you

Could you give us tips on what sand to use or make?

The First half of the mold you were pounding sand into, the mold needs to be flipped over. You pound from the back and if your on a smooth flat surface, you flip it back over and then press the ring into it. When you scrape the surface you are pressing into like you did, it loosens up the whole top and makes a bad mold.

You never had part two of what the ring looked like that would have helped out a lot it's hard to find complete videos on YouTube lol people do half of it and then never show the other half unfortunately I really wanted to see what that ring was going to look like and what needed to be done to fix it to make it look nice

Nice new to me holes for air escape

Great video! Please drop part 2, thanks!!!

thank you so much!!! =)

Part 2 is up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8uE4TcZjlxE
