3X Ohio state Champ. NJCAA All-American. Coach. Mentor. And now the man who helped lead Perrysburg to its first Division I team state title.

On this episode of The Dynasty Effect Podcast, we sit down with Scott Burnett, one of the most respected coaches and developers of talent in Ohio wrestling.

Scott shares the story behind his wrestling upbringing and coaching some of the biggest names in Ohio wrestling, including Logan Stieber, Marcus Blaze, and his son Grey.

But the centerpiece of the conversation is Perrysburg's remarkable journey and how after three straight state runner-up finishes to St. Ed's, Perrysburg finally completed the climb in 2026, winning the Division I state championship and ending the Eagles' historic 26-year championship run.

It's a conversation about wrestling, family, leadership, relationships, building a culture and what it really takes to knock down a giant.
