Poor Dorothy, having to go through the Sicily stories, the Saint Olaf stories and the Southern Belle stories

Dorothy: “Oh ma…..that’s a load of crap..” 🤣🤣

“Ma your lying, Dorothy be positive… okay I’m positive you’re lying”

Sophia Petrillo is one of the best TV characters of all time and THE baddest woman EVER!  Her stories about Sicily are just plain awesome.

I also enjoyed all her new York flashbacks with Young Dorthy

In case anyone's wondering: 900,000 lira is about 540 dollars lol

I love Sophia and always have.

Dorothy (After her mother told the story about the widow caravelli, her green salve medicine + Salvador the village idiot): "Ma, you're making this up."
Sophia: "So what? I'm old, I'm supposed to be colorful!" 😆😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣🤣

"Abbondanza!"🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just enjoy

I grew up on this show, I've listened to the Audio description for the blind and it's hilarious! nods, so true, Sophia.💔 You know you're getting older when you can relate to Sophia's stories, lol, or were raised in the mob... Either way, I digress. Sophia lived an interesting life. Although her accent sounds more New York Ashkenazi than Siciliana.

FYI, I'm just a physically and visually impaired 80s baby who could just sit in my wheelchair and listen to the world go by, and to my adoptive parents, who were New Yorkers. Pops was a tall dancer whose dreams were taken by WWII injuries. Ma was a short, old-school seamstress who specialized in wedding dresses, half Italian (not to be confused with Sicilian, lol). She was always adamant about that distinction lol and Ashkenazi, so I know that voice/accent. If I'm mistaken, I apologize, but I'd bet money on it that I'm not, because the actress sounds like my Ma.

Mamma, mi manchi tantissimo e ti voglio bene. 1933 - 2011

who ever reads this I promise I didn't say anything bad in Italian I just thought it would be nice to say I miss you so much Ma, and I love you. 1933 2011 her life and death date. you're pussy cat still remembers Ma.

"Ma, you never met Golda Meir!"

I loved watching this show with my mum and dad when I was younger ❤❤

Another favorite Sophia Petrillo line I'd like to use anytime: "Jeez Darthy, you sure know how to beat a metaphor to death!"😆😆😆😆🤣🤣🤣🤣

Ich liebe diese Serie für alle Zeiten ❤❤❤❤

The actor playing McCracken is the voice behind teén titans robin

There must be a moment in life in which one  can be happy with little...this piece was just so hilarious  ...at some pooint this conversation goes like this  :....Only if you promise me to live together...Sophia answered:  'OK I will'...'Mum how can you make a promise like that?' Well , if I dont survive what you gone do to me?

No story will change my mind.  Not even the one we can tell your father on how his car got dented while you were doing wheelies and not while it was sitting in the parking lot.  You wouldn't do that would you. Hey shes your grandmother has she ever lied to you

Great stories❤❤❤❤❤.

I love the TV show the golden girls. All four lady's made the show so funny . Love from paul❤❤❤😊😊😊
