In this video, we look at the famous image of Ymir Fritz standing opposite the Devil with an apple between them—and why it may not represent what actually happened 2,000 years ago.
The anime never shows Ymir making a deal with a Devil. Instead, we see a slave fleeing King Fritz, falling into a massive tree, and coming into contact with the strange organism that gave her Titan power. So where did the Devil story come from?
We explore Marley’s version of Ymir’s history, the Eldian interpretation, the fictional story of Helos, and how both sides turned Ymir into something their people needed her to be.

It shows how we always search to flag people as enemies or friends
The parasite itself isn't really that conscience or aware it's power she's kind of Godlike with the girl running the show.
Kenny ironically fits this the best and it's with letting Eren go or more exactly giving Historia the offer of becoming the attack Titan with her obviously declining it.
After watching the video: the devil is propaganda!?

That Devil was never real. Ymir never made a deal with him. Devil and apple thing was Marleyan propaganda, not an actual event.
Ymir got her Titan power from organism in the tree.
Hopefully that clears it up, because apparently we need a director’s cut for some of you 💀
