The police are conducting an investigation at Shalebridge and are questioning the six principle suspects, but they do not have the murder weapon, nor any useful forensics ... the investigation is not going well. Ambrose was an old family friend of the Crofts and so Lara is keen to see his murderer brought to justice. Avoiding the police at all costs - she begins her own investigation at Shalebridge...
