We retreated back to the taiga hut for our second autumn night. Autumn arrived abruptly, a cold north wind blew, so we immediately set about making ourselves cozy and preparing for the night: we lit the stove, prepared larch firewood, and warmed ourselves with hot tea.

Of course, we couldn't do without our favorite fishing—we caught grayling in the riffles and even managed to catch a nice perch. In the evening, we cooked a rich, aromatic fresh fish soup over the fire, managed to mow the grass near the hut a bit before bed, and shared our plans for the next day: mushrooms, berries, and morning fishing.
