Once l kept several of those Hardhead Catfish. Figured l could at least use em bait in my crab traps. Seems even the crabs don't want em. Not a single crab in either pot. The one with chicken back was loaded.
What an amazing catch congratulations!
We do a lot of beach fishing here in Brazil, too.
We love fishing for pompano; they put up a great fight.
Cheers!👍
Brant You always have great content and I know it’s a lot of work to post I am also a surf fisherman and your tips help a lot Thanks for what you do Tell B bum and B Brad your tearing it up
Another favorite shore fishing trip, it was very fun to watch. By watching your videos I have learned a different dimension to beach fishing. I have thrown rooster tails for mountain trout and plugs for lake bass. I never would have thought to use them surf fishing but you are very successful, thanks for the tutorial! I throughly enjoyed watching!
Brant, your videos are really making it hard to wait till August 8th to head to Grayton Beach. I will be there for a week, gonna be doing some beach, pier, and lake fishing. Gonna catch as many as I can in the salt, fresh and brackish water. Thanks for sharing the info about how you do it. I'm really looking forward to this summer trip.
That's the cool thing about fishing the Pensacola beaches...a variety of fish...big schools & blowups of mackerel and bigger spanish, ladyfish, etc. It's just a lot of good fun even if you don't keep 'em. Then there's the dolphins who'll chase & strip your catch and leave you with nothing but the head.
