The fact that Spaghetti-o’s wasn’t the first option is a crime against humanity

Little disappointed that the $100 plate wasn’t just the $1 plate with a couple heapings of caviar and a piece of gold leaf.

I feel like this format would be really interesting if we went from most expensive to least and worked out how to keep as much of the expensive dish's profile as possible as went cheaper.

Babish in a backwards cap and Babish in glasses and no hat makes me think that Superman and Hannah Montana really could’ve tricked us

As the price went up the serving size went down.

When i make $10 spahgetti i take the pasta water and shake it in the sauce jar to loose all the sauce before i dump it all into the noodles.

My controversial take is that frozen meatballs are criminally underrated, but jarred tomato sauce is overrated

Honestly? Enjoyed learning how to make vegetarian meatballs. If nothing else, I now know how to do that. Also "who is the $10 spagh for?" ME..IM BROKE AND WANT PASTA

imagine forgetting that store brand exists when looking for the cheapest pasta

And then there's the priceless spaghetti and meatballs, made by a little old Italian grandmother who makes fresh pasta, stirs the simmering sauce overnight and wouldn't dream of taking payment because "you're too skinny and you need to eat more!"

Surprised, the 100 dollar spaghetti didn't have fresh or homemade pasta.

I stopped at the $25 stage, went to the store, and made the exact same thing. It was delicious. Thanks Babish

“So would you come over and paint my house for me?”

For $34?

I love Brad's little interrogations at the start of each section

Broke college student here, I make probably the worst spaghetti you've ever had by getting a jar of meat-flavored pasta sauce, spaghetti noodles, and Colby Jack cheese--because I use it for more things than just spaghetti which would be the case for shaker parmesan (all store brand), and mix it all up, adding garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and sometimes crushed red pepper flakes if I'm feeling frisky, all for like, 90 cents per serving. It's tasty enough that it scratches the itch for spaghetti (a safe food for me) while still being affordable. I think I make this once a week? Genuinely a food atrocity though
