Great video thanks Tony. Love the setup. I wish there were more homebrew competitions where I live just so I can get some feedback, mates just love the free beer so will tell you anything to keep it flowing unless its really bad of course. Cheers

Gotta love centennial!

Good stuff Tony!  It was funny, I was just wondering why you used the hose to fill the boil kettle and was going to ask about that, and there you went and answered right there.  Your brew days always looks so good with that rig!  Thank you for sharing and inspiring the rest of us with it! Sounds like you got some good feed back at the competition, and learned a bunch.  That's the main reason I enter competitions, not for winning, but for learning what I could do better next time.  Cheers!

Great idea with the air stone, cheers

The videos are great.  What a great brew day.  Cheers!

Two thumbs up Tony. Nice of you to share your experience of the comp. Cheers & HHBW.

the maris otter smash looks great

I bet those judges will have a different opinion once they try more beers... I can't wait to behold a brew day like that! Cheers!

Great video ! I`m sure you`ll do much better next year  with all of the things you learned from this years experience. The Smash looks  like an awesome combination , marris is just the best malt you can get in my opinion  for brewing any kind of ale .  Looking forward to the tasting of the smash brew. Cheers !

Fantastic footage Tony.  Good on you for getting your beers out there in contests and nice to get a little feedback on them too.  Cheers!

Another great brew Tony and again a lot of great tips   Can't whack a smash beer there my favourite. Cheers.

Thanks for the video. You've probably answered this before, but why don't you use your Boil Kettle to heat you strike water? That way you could keep your HLT filled with water that is at the right temp for the mash recirculation.  And you wouldn't have to wait until the added water comes back up to temp before you can start your recirculation? You would still use the water in the HLT for the sparge of course.

Quality video Tony.  I think I'm going to make this one myself.  Still new at this and have never used Maris Otter.  Of course I think I will be making a 5 gal. batch.  I am jealous of that rig you have.  Cheers and HHBW Tony!

that coconut IPA sounds like an interesting brew, I'll defiantly have to try it and congratulations on your competition brews too keep up the great work, cheers

Nice work Tony, that MO wort looked lovely going into the boil kettle! Your AB clone was looking pretty mean in the fermenter too! HHBW.

Nice one buddy! Looks like a nice and easy brewday! Hope all is well, churs mate!

awesome brew day Tony!   Love your electric setup.....someday hehe.  Looks like I got some more snowy brew days coming up! :)  Try out cold mashing if you do a imperial stout!

Well for the feedback it`s always good, but a shame you didn't have much time to get set up, great brew day always enjoy them, I always look to see how you have things set up for future reference, cheers

I need to get a hose setup for my transfer from the mash tun to the boil kettle. I've tried just a simple hose but I need/want a valve next to the output. I don't want to adjust the flow from the pump. Another opportunity to build something. I've over over sparged before with no I'll effects but I won't always get lucky.  Cheers.

What kind of pipes do you use?
