I enjoyed the interview a lot. Unlike other interviewers this one doesn't interrupt every 2 sentences and doesn't ask all the same old questions. Still miss the man I never met very much.

I just saw the movie and really liked it. Alan did a wonderful job directing and acting in it. The whole production was wonderfully done. I recommend it to anybody who hasn't seen it yet. What a wonderful man Alan was. It was a damned shame he was taken so soon from us. A highly gifted actor we will all miss. RIP Alan.

(Edited to add- I do appreciate that this and other Alan Rickman interviews are on YouTube for us to enjoy.)
I know people mean well, and I’m not an expert or anything like that, but I feel bad when I see all of these interviews over the years and people say the same things to him regarding being a “villain.” Or, they don’t seem to know much about the movies they’re asking him about. And I know the people interviewing can’t possibly know everything and have seen every single movie, but I just feel that despite being obviously very well known, much of his work wasn’t as publicly appreciated as it could have been. He was an absolutely astounding actor with versatility that I have really never seen in anyone else.
