RainX or other rain repellent liquid maybe?

Hi Colin, you certainly picked a rough first few days!! Nice to see the NC running sweetly apart from the key issue, which I hope you got sorted. Scenery all looks lovely and I think will only get better, looking forward to the next episode, ride safe mate

Good to see you out and enjoying the great weather we have in the UK, Haha can't wait to catch the next installment tomorrow night,  Hoping the key issue has been sorted by then. Bit worrying as I have same bike but a bit older. Stay safe Mr.

What do you think of the Nt1100 honda

Getting my NC750X-DCT at the end of the month-ish, I am fortunate enough to live in Scotland and only about 1hr:30mins from Ayr & my Daughters live on the way which gives me a chance to drop in for a brew, Ayrshire is beautiful especially along that coastline, cant wait to get the bike cruising along the coast roads, hope it stayed dry for you but hey it's Scotland four seasons in 20mins 😃.

My steering lock on my nc750 jammed and it took me 7 hours after spraying with everything before it unlocked. Now I never lock it again, I always take a complete set of spare keys on holiday cause you could loose the main one, but good video

Hi noticed you have added tally style foot pegs. I have ordered an NC750X with a number of OEM extras for touring and was wondering where you got these pegs from. Enjoyed your video and look forward to the next one.

Hi! Your Scotland tour looks amazing! I ride an NC750X too. I live in Japan, but I’d love to visit Scotland and ride there one day!

By the way, I use the comfort seat too, but you still get a sore bum, don’t you? It’s better than the standard seat, but after about two hours, it gets pretty uncomfortable for me as well. Any tips for making longer rides more comfortable?

Riding in the rain can be tough, so stay safe and enjoy the rest of your trip!

Good Video Colin, sorry you had a lot of rain going up, hope you have dry for the rest, I would not use WD40 in the lock, as it is corrosive, the best would be to use Brake cleaner/or switch cleaner, but sounds like a key problem rather than a lock problem. On your way back I don't suppose you are coming back via Manchester (ish)? Steve

Surely a tiny rough/sticky patch on the key if having both locks giving problems, personally I never ever take the bike out without my spare key on a chain round my neck, that was a long way for a shortcut after you crossed the Boarder😮 hang a left at Gretna along the Solway coast to Stranrear then up the coast to your campsite bends for smiles..... Interested to hear your mpg on long run....

tally = rally 🤭

Nice review.  How is the real world weather protection? I know you say you got a bit 'moist'
I did Portsmouth to Stirling in one hit on a 2018 Tiger 12, THE BEST saddle I have ever had.
Wonder how I would fare on the NC?

Hi have you fitted some sort of ppf over the gloss black trim where your leg would be? If so what is it? Thanks, Raymond

Which mapping are you using?

Can I ask why you didn’t put more in the frunk if nothing else just to keep it dry?  Also how are you finding the nc on a long journey? I ask because I’m considering buying one and because I’m 68 how easy is it to ride as a dct? I know it would take longer but would it not be more comfortable journey on smaller roads as you get a lot of water of other vehicles on the motorway ?
