Myron Cook is a national treasure

Thanks for driving so much over rocky roads and arid lands to make these videos for us.  They are brilliant and  transformative.

P.S. Never stop publishing LONG videos. They are the best!

Your cinematography and framing are phenomenal! Your ability to capture the scale is amazing!

Myron is the Sir David Attenborough of Geology. His narratives bring great knowledge and excitement to topics we didn't know we needed to know..an American treasure.

This is the best channel on YouTube

Ah brilliant. No slop. No AI. gonna be a good 40 mins :)

The level of planning and preparation required to make this video is staggering. Those are some very remote places. Hours and hours of pouring over maps, topo charts, road layers alone. Not to mention supplies, etc. Completely non-trivial. Bravo, sir.

I've been cleaning up channels I subscribe to. Cutting out noise, changing my vibe. THIS channel will always stay. Such great content.

And your EDITING! The DRONE WORK! Holy heck. What adventures you allow us to enjoy with you. Blessings to you and yours from Oklahoma.

Absolutely. You have to see it with your own eyes. 😮 The Grand Canyon makes my mouth drop open even after being there many  times. Thank you for bringing it to us, Myron!

What an amazing presentation of such a complex subject. Trying to comprehend even a small section of the Grand Canyon's history is just overwhelming. You obviously spent a great deal of time putting this magnificent production together. Thank you so much for opening our eyes to what an a unique planet we live on.

A new Myron post.  What a great day.

Appreciate the amount of driving you do, so we might enjoy the places you highlight for us.

When we went through the Grand canyon the river guide told us that the river flowed to the North in the past. This is a great explanation of how that happened.

I've been waiting for a good up to date explanation for the genesis of the Grand Canyon and boy howdy Myron you delivered in spades, offering by far the most comprehensive I've seen. Love the relief maps with the various stages as much as the field geology with all those long drives and hikes to get to amazing overlooks (wish I could send you gas money). Thanks!

This region of the United States is known as the “Grand Circle”, and driving around it reveals an amazing geological history and beautiful landscape. Myron Cook shows it best!

It's impossible to imagine the majesty of the Grand Canyon without seeing it. Your brain refuses to believe what your eyes are reporting. I got to see the Grand Canyon in the 1967. Before they built the coal fired power plants there because the air was clear. It's not anymore. But still the most amazing sight on Earth.

Love the long format, Myron is an American Treasure!

Thanks Myron!  Another fantastic journey of the mind described by a master storyteller!
