This song makes me cry because it makes me think of Rose's goodbye in Doomsday.

I never noticed that the Doomsday Motif was used in The Angels Take Manhattan until now

The saddest song in all of doctor who. Makes me want to cry. And I love it.

Doomsday is also heard in The Christmas Invasion when the Doctor liberates some residual regeneration energy in Rose's house.

Wait…this song was in the very first episode?!

Watched Doomsday for the first time a couple days ago. It's my favourite episode by far, and it all comes down to the tune; it's just so fucking depressing and peak

I forgot how depressing that tune is

Rose will back in avengers doomsday

Can you do a “Every episode plays in” of Ruby's second song (the more recognizable one is the slightly sad song when Joy to the world ruby appear, rather than the familiar “Trudy” song）
) In addition, I found that there is also a very similar song in Mawdyn Undead that has the same tune as Ruby's second song. I don't know whether it is a coincidence.😆

It's in Rose?!

The Angels take Manhattan feels like a stretch. I’ve listened to it over and over and that doesn’t sound anything like the Doomsday motif to me. Just similar chords.

Lovely Compilation!
I think there's a missing use of the Doomsday motif/track I wanted to kindly highlight as well. In the S2 episode School Reunion, the motif is heard in flute form around 12 minutes in, when Sarah Jane and The Doctor talk after she realizes it's him. The flute-style motif is then heard again at 18.30 minutes in, right when Sarah Jane mentions it wasn't Croydon. I thought it might be the Doctor's Theme interpolated, but it sounds closer to Doomsday's vocal motif, on woodwind.
Let me know if anyone else can concur on this, and great video!

Hows angels of manhattan connected to doomsday is it the music?

Doesn't it also play in Vale Decem, just after Ten says "I don't wanna go."?

So the song is called Doomsday but wasn't actually used in the Episode Doomsday until a season later? Was it renamed retroactively?
