3:23 both players are delivering strikes to the head - that should have been red for both of them....

I’m new to the sport so my understanding is limited, but coming from American Football it’s good to good to see a zero tolerance for head and neck shots.

I find it odd that the NFL claims to be so against head trauma and concussions, but they allow helmets, which not only cause a false sense of security, but are often used as weapons.

I respect the fact that these players don't argue and abuse the refs like other sports.  The players accept their fate and leave the field.  No whining.

Second one looked terrible but the attacking player didn’t land beyond the horizontal due to the defenders vigilance. Maybe yellow due to the danger but surely not red.

Samoan red. Looked like he copped some hammer fists or at least elbows to the neck or back of the head. Interesting that it wasn't reprimanded as well.

De Villiers has a titanium neck to survive that clothesline from Tuilagui

Good video.

Trevor leota is no joke

Great man

Some of those cards are fucking unbelievable. Luckily now they added those mitigation factors

I could wish that some players accept that trying to break an opponent's neck merits a red card . . .

I will never understand some of the laws in Rugby. Like, why does a player jump up when catching the ball and they always put a leg foward while doing so?

anyone else think the player in white on the left at 2:52 was bottomless for a second?

1:38 yeah that guy deserves the red.

Liam Williams at his dirty best again

8:25 I don't know the laws (rules) of Rugby, but this hit looks different from the others.
It looks more like Green running into Blue. Not Blue premeditating a shoulder hit to the neck. It looks like Blue was bracing for the tackle, and Green ran into him.

Also, 5:36, this looked unintentional. Both players were looking at the ball (both looking upwards, not at each other), and collided. Blue's momentum (from jumping for the ball) took him up and over White. I doesn't look like White changed any of the physics of this play.
These two plays look different from the others. I don't see premeditation in them (in the replays).

The defenders get no leeway whatsoever the attackers have far too much leeway and often purposely lower their heads in contact to get cards

The first lady in the vid, she didn't even deserve a penalty there. What she did is correct! WTF?

Williams was hard done by, the Pom deserved a slap.

Was the first one a red card or just bad timing…

There are intentional head high tackles and accidental head high tackles 🤔 the refs should be more aware and less strict with better judgement

Second one shouldn't even have been a yellow, certainly not a red.
