On Christmas Eve in 1803, a small village called Àrreu suffered one of the greatest tragedies in the Pyrenees. A massive avalanche buried the entire village under snow, killing all 17 people who lived there at the time. Those who were away at the time of the avalanche rebuilt the village. It was completely abandoned in the 1980s. However, four years ago, a man named Eloi settled there. In this video, we were incredibly lucky to speak with him.
