You should get Stephan to print an rectangular adapter for the table saw.

It is shame that you don't know anybody that could 3d print a rectangle to round dust port adaptor, 🤔.

Hearing you drop an F bomb caught me completely off guard

I wanted to buy a K3 after watching your first video, but the 90-120 day delivery time and nearly complete lack of support was a no-go for me.  Instead, I bought the SCM Minimax SC2 Classic from a distributor in Mannheim who had two saws in stock.  When I asked the salesman when he could deliver the saw, he looked at his watch and told me it was too late for today, but I could have it the next day since I was in their local delivery area.  The price was similar to the K3 Winner, but included the scoring blade, delivery, and commissioning.

After it was delivered partially assembled to my garage, I had to further disassemble the saw so I could safely move it down the stairs to my basement shop and reassemble it prior to the SCM technician arriving.  I think he spent about four hours aligning the sliding deck and rip fence rail to the factory specifications, while describing in detail what he was doing and the order of adjustments.  Once satisfied with the alignment and making a few test cuts, he loosened all of the hardware, gave the sliding deck and fence rail a jiggle, and told me it was my turn.  I could have killed him, but he walked me through the process and a few hours later, my saw was fully operational.

If you put lubrication on the sliding table, then you have a secondary dust collection. 😄

As many others have pointed out, at 1:02, when the dust collection gets new holes, ask Stefan to 3d-print you an adapter! Maybe you should also have changed the dust collection hose. 10 year old plastic may fall apart. But what do I know :D

You could make a new, adjustable indicator for the fence scale. Put a .1mm Vernier scale on it while you are at it.

Danke Marius, für die hilfreichen Tipp`s zur Verbesserung der Eigenschaften der Säge. Ist für alle K3 Basic- Besitzer wieder eine echte Bereicherung. Den Anschlag habe ich übrigens bei meiner Säge durch den Rundwellenanschlag meiner Hammer Bandsäge ersetzt. Läuft jetzt wesentlich geschmeidiger. Gruß aus der Nachbarschaft!

One adjustment you could remove from the fence rail is snapping off the cursor and replacing it with an adjustable one. That would allow you to adjust the zero on the scale if you were to change the sawblade width too.

I use the K700 myself, and the best accessory I would recommend is a digital readout for the rip fence. It's worth it's weight in gold.

Use to design n sell Alum profile so made a fold down table extension to table saw for my small workshop. Lotta adjusting to get it right but use it all the time & later incorporated a router into it. Using profile extrusion made the adjustment process a lot easier.
