Thank you for the music you’ve created, but even more for the example you’ve set. Over the years, you’ve shown that success doesn’t have to come at the cost of authenticity. Your sound has always carried its own identity, recognisable within seconds, yet constantly evolving. As someone who looks up to you, that’s been incredibly inspiring.
Through different chapters of my life, your music has been there in the background, sometimes giving me energy when I needed it most, sometimes simply reminding me why I fell in love with electronic music in the first place. There are memories in my life that will always have your songs woven into them.
As a producer, you’ve influenced far more people than you probably realize. Every drop, every melody, every carefully crafted detail has encouraged countless artists to keep creating, to keep learning, and to believe that they can find their own voice. You’ve raised the standard while making others want to reach for it.
Obviously, everyone’s life and priorities change, and I don’t know how much longer I’ll continue producing music. But I just want to say one more massive THANK YOU for being my idol for so many years.
