Discover Grandma's secret 12-spoon apple cake – probably the easiest and most delicious autumn recipe ever! Prepared in just 5 minutes, with very ordinary ingredients that everyone has at home. This German apple cake is incredibly moist, fluffy and full of flavor, with a hint of cinnamon and lemon that will instantly make your home smell like autumn 🍏🍂. The dried apricots give it a delicate sweetness and make it particularly aromatic. Completely without scales, stress-free and perfect for everyone who loves quick and delicious cakes 💛. 🔷🔷Recipe:
3 eggs.
A pinch of salt.
12 tbsp sugar (180 g / 6.3 oz).
12 tbsp milk (120 ml / 4 fl oz).
12 tablespoons of sunflower oil (120 ml / 4 fl oz).
1 tsp vanilla sugar or vanilla extract.
12 tablespoons of flour (300 g / 10.2 oz).
1 tbsp baking powder (10 g / 0.35 oz).
Mix well.
2 apples.
Grate lemon zest.
1 tsp ground cinnamon.
15 dried apricots (100 g / 3.5 oz).
24 cm (9.5 inch) baking pan.
Line with baking paper.
Grease the tin with butter to help the baking paper stay in place.
Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 40–45 minutes.
Icing sugar for decoration.
