Ado is 23 years old Japanese woman. She skyrocketed to mainstream fame in Asia after her first Original song called Usseewa in 2020. (which is slang for shut up.) It was released a day before her 18th birthday. She has never revealed her face😊

Those anime with big eyes are mostly 2000s-era art style. Most modern anime has vastly different artstyles, ranging from surreal/abstract(works by Shaft anime studio such as the monogatari series for example) to minimalist (Nichijou, or more recently City the Animation) to cinematic/photorealistic (Violet Evergarden).

As for Ado herself, she is an anonymous singer who currently can be considered one of, if not, the biggest Japanese artist outside of japan. She never shows her face, and her lives/concerts are performed with her being hidden by the shadow, and singing inside a cage. If you're interested, I would suggest you continue with Where the wind blows live (another one piece film red song), Usseewa (her debut song, released the day before her 18th birthday), Show, and Godish. She never sticks to a single genre, so there should be at least one song in her repertoire for everyone.

About the "big eyes" in anime/manga. It's not exclusive to japan and western animation does this all the time and it's not any less noticeable either. People do it like that because it's more expressive since that's where emotions are mostly conveyed

💙💙ADO💙💙 Check some more ADO! All her FILM RED songs are very good! but check a few more!

Please check out more Ado. I recomment her live cover of Unravel.

As Ado`s big fan I must carry this faith to the masses. #TheWorldADOmination
Most of her song, independently from genre is it a cover or is it her own song sounds like banger. Lyrics also full of meaning
I recomend to listen next if not listened yet:
1. "Unravel" - cover on TK`s song. Imho, cover better than original. And also live performance of this cover from her better than studio version
2. "Usseewa" - her major debut song, when she was 17 (1 day before 18)
3. "Shoka" - song written by Ado. This song made me scare twice, firstly when I listen an see AMV, secondly when I check lyrics... "Ado are you ok?" - that's all I could think about at that moment. I think it is saddest and anxious song from her
4. "Rule" - maybe the most aggressive song from her
5. Entire album with song for anime One Peace film Red (8 songs)
6. "Rebelion" - AMV looks like entire anime
7. "Crime & Punishment" - cover on Sheena Ringo`s song, that concentrate attantion on her vocal (your ears must be ready)
8. "Show" - demonstrate abilities to mix the different cultures and different genres into one song, like entire album
9. "Odo" - she tries on the role of DJ
10. "God-ish" - while listening firstly I thought that there ~10 vocalist
11. "I`m controversy" - playing around interesting sound effects
12 "Value" - collaboration with Apple (AMV on iPad), sounds pretty cool
13. "Kick back" - "cover" on Chainsaw-man op with surprise
14. "Aishite" - cover on Kikuo`s (Vocaloid) song. It is like "emotional roller coaster"
15. "Villain Utattemita" - a cover of a song with lyrics in English and Korean.
16. "Gira gira" - contains powerfull lyrics.
17. "Take me to the beach" - her collab song with Imagine Dragons
18. "Elf" - very emotional ballad. I didn't notice how 2 hours passed while I was listening / watching this song on repeat

I advice to watch AMVs before live version or advances subs version, because there are a lot of sound effects that can`t be reproduced live. AMVs also contains a lot of meaning

There are no all Ado`s songs present on the official Youtube channel. There is complete list of Ado`s songs (or almost complete) chronologically sorted. It contains now ~160 (original, covers, collabs, etc) and I can advice to listen each of them

If calculate from her first cover, it is looks like she releases new song each 18 days. And she is only 23. It is break my mind.
I think your job is not finished yet))) . . . ..

I don't know if you guys know about the First Take channel, but they released a video with Ado a few days ago, she sang Usseewa which was her debut song 5 years ago, and it was an amazing first take. I'd love to see you guys react to that.

the SMART thing to do would be to watch all the story arcs for the main characters and skip the rest

i think maybe like Shonen type of anime, or Shoujo, or Seinen......i think that is what you talking about.....😊

This music video may not be the best way to introduce Ado to people who aren't interested in anime. So how about this live video? 👇️

Poor guy trying to ask a question he barely knows how to ask,
Anyway, about the eyes tho, it depends on who you asked, basically, it was inherited from the early form of modern anime where the god daddy of anime mr Osamu inspired by western animation, he see the idea of having big eyes is a way to express emotions of the characters, he then incorporate it in his work and since then everyone seems to use his philosophy and created the identity of anime we see today, it also has become a standard where girls have bigger eyes than boys, it has no genre but it is an art style, a more realistic form was used and still used these days but the rules still stick, where the girls eyes are more rounded than the boys depending on the character traits and psychology, the more innocence they are the more child like they look the more broken they are the less likely they have bright round eyes

1:51 I thought you said you watched one piece(⊙ω⊙) my bad

Btw, your ADO pronunciation is wrong

"A-doh"

There is no reason to start watch One Piece from 800s episode because it will be a waste of time. If you have`t time for this, at least you can watch short titles
