Japan in Russia? ⛩️ Take a 4K 60FPS walk through the Japanese Garden in Krasnodar's Galitsky Park, a 7.5-hectare garden its creators call the largest outside Japan.
🌸 WHAT YOU'LL SEE
A red pagoda above raked white gravel, a Noh stage standing over a koi pond, a bronze statue holding masks, mirror-like ponds, red bridges and trees turning gold in early autumn. No commentary, just the walk and the sounds of the garden.
🏯 A GIFT TO A CITY
The park is officially called "Krasnodar", but everyone knows it as Galitsky Park, after Sergey Galitsky, the businessman who founded the FC Krasnodar football club in 2008 and built the park with his own money. It opened on September 28, 2017, and entry to the park is free. People travel across Russia just to walk here.

Construction began in December 2021, and the garden opened on March 30, 2023
7.5 hectares with about 3.6 km of walking paths
Thousands of trees and shrubs, ponds, waterfalls and a bamboo grove
Built in a traditional style: dry "karesansui" gardens where raked gravel stands for water, a pagoda, a Noh theatre stage and tea houses
