Abandoned for years, no electricity and yet a light?

How can Sophie justify leaving 4 children (a boy with 3 babies) in an abandoned hotel without food, water or any basics and stay in a shelter ? Not realistic at all. If Thomas didn't by chance happen to pass there that day, they would've starved to death. No, this story makes me sick. From Randburg South Africa 29 July 26
