I respect the fuck out of a game that isn’t afraid to look weird and freaky and ugly. Sometimes it makes it so much better.

i feel sick knowing the bob girl canonically is not aware she's a visitor

The nun saying "you couldn't be bothered to hang a cross" when there is a cross on the wall behind her...

That moment when the apocalypse breaks out and I've just shaved and gotten my teeth fixed

4:36:36 Actually, according to the wiki the husband DOESN’T have bruises on his knuckles if he’s a visitor, he only has them if he’s human. And that’s even more sad…

I absolutely LOVE your voice for the girl that brings the cat. It's so accurate to how she looks lol

the way funky switches into the voice and mannerisms of the pale killer is genuinely, GENUINELY, terrifying. go into voice acting funky, my GOD.

I love the way this game handles the theme of discrimination. People like wireface and the burnt man are often inherently seen as suspicious because they are disfigured. Wireface literally had his mouth sewn shut simply because he doesn't speak the common language. It really touches on how judging people can bitw you.

The concept of having such a lucky run where you get the seductive lady, mushroom guy, wireface, and immortal man only to end up with the only people left in your house being the domestic violence couple is crazy

The way you pick character voices so naturally, and they work perfectly every time. "She's my sister, she's depressed" omg that line in the voice you chose... like I know people like that IRL 😂😂😂 so funny

hey funky, just a little fun fact, wireface actually speaks in atbash! So while it seems like hes speaking gibberish it is actually the english language with every letter in the alphabet flipped. So with how he was speaking Z would be A, alot of people have translated what he says but honestly it is a very lengthy process that i thought was cool :)

OH DANG! I JUST REALIZED....THE MADMAN IS YOUR NEIGHBOR'S BROTHER! LOOK AT THEIR FACES! THEY LOOK SO SIMILAR! He wasn't hunting your neighbor down! He wanted to know if his brother was still alive!!!

15:13 dance of the little swans! they played it on tv in 1991 when the ussr was falling apart instead of any news programs. to keep people in the dark for as long as possible. very neat detail (the biblically accurate kombucha is still my favourite detail though)

As someone who has played this over and over again, I'm cracking up at how you would have gotten the bad survival ending...only to be saved at the last moment by the bad dream killing all of the visitors you had in your house. That's insane!

1:02:01:
even though the cashier lady was a visitor, she didn't know that she was. she will actually help you throughout the game if you don't kill her, but i still don't recommend having her in you house, because visitors will only kill if another one in present, (as later said).

(just now realizing that the tarot card lady is doing the same pose the neighbor did... she was even in the same chair. thats probably why the daughter is looking at the ground, not willing to look at the lady who reminds her of her father. or, if she isnt in the house, not willing to look at where her father once sat.)

Rewatching the stream after being there live, chat was so fucking annoying I'm not sorry. It's the not letting Funky figure out things themselves, constantly spoiling (even after when Funky said not to), and the shit the people spoiling DID say were wrong.

Tighten up chat. be better. Learn basic boundaries, it's really not that hard.

You are the first person I’ve seen to let wireface in and also understand that he’s bleeding cause he literally had wires in his mouth 🙏 absolutely goated. Him, fireman, and widowed woman are always human btw

The part where the neighbour plays with his daugther while barricading his home really reminds me of the dad from “La vita è bella” who played with his son while being in a concentration camp. A sign of a good dad.

the chat was really bad and didnt know how to look for the cues even though they have the eyes to see around much more than the person whos playing. They just wanted to kill based on appearance and it was very narrow minded

chat and comments are so annoying, don't give advice to people who specifically ask for no advice / spoilers
"so and so is always evil, good, this sign is fake" it ruins the game, whats the point of watching someone play if you just want everyone to play the exact same way
