I had no idea as a kid that the first ending was hinting at me to play at a higher difficulty. I always assumed that the game ended with a robot Mr. X getting beaten and the shattered wine glass, with "The End?" meaning a 4th game would conclude the story. And then when that didn't happen, I assumed they just never bothered to end the series and the cliffhanger ending never received a proper sendoff.

This is the first time I'm seeing extra endings. 20 years later. Geez.

Still not sure why Mr. X shatters the wine glass in the bad ending. He technically won.

I like how both Max AND Adam turn up at the end (Max in the final image at 11:25 and Adam in his chopper). Like, where the f*ck have you both been?!

@devondport1170 6 years ago

They should of at least let u unlock Adam after all the BS they put you through in this game 😤 😠

This game took a very dark term on when it comes to the endings.

Streets of Rage 3 still captures the charm of the other streets of rage games, but the difficulty really gets to me.

If you played hard mode, then you will get more endings, & one of them is the best ending

@Jagged-Jay 9 years ago

Game is hard as balls. Great graphics though and they put a lot of work into making 4 endings.

Feels so good to complete this game after so many years.

I best this game on HARD back in 2005 many times over on any given Saturday morning after watching power rangers. This game is the reason I’ve become so COMPETITIVE at beat’em up games. SR3 maybe hard as fuck but it’s worth it in the end with these amazing credits. 💪🏾👏🏾🌈 Beat my all time score is higher than most. 🙃😜

@ 5:50 the explosion was way more dangerous than the ending of AEW Revolution 2021😂😂😂😭😭😭

Thank's for showing the good/true ending last especially right after the real bad ending, the other 2 weren't that bad mostly just because of the music.
