Hey loves. So this video isn't necessarily relaxing. I suppose it is more Vlog style but it is done in a mostly soft spoken voice so many of you may just be able to drift off to it in the background. I've tried about a dozen times to record and post this but it just never felt right. Tonight I decided I'd just go for it and hope for the best. Please forgive my appearance, it's late, I'm tired and my hair is frizzy because it finally got washed and is now free of all the dry shampoo I use on the daily😅😅😅😅 #momlife
This video is based on my experiences during my pregnancy. It is not meant to offend or hurt anyone. Pregnancy/fertility/childbirth in general are extremely sensitive topics and they leave many y people in vulnerable positions as they try to share their experiences. Too often I noticed that there were more people thst would come out of the woodwork to say they went through similar experiences but were never comfortable voicing it because it is rather taboo to talk about how one is not enjoying their pregnancy experience. I feel like that needs to change. Everyone should feel safe talking about what they went or what they are currently going through. There needs to be support during these life experiences. That's the only way we'll make it.
Please, if there is something you don't agree with, that's fine but keep it to yourself. It costs nothing to just continue on with your day without negatively impacting someone else's because they shared their experience.
"In a world where you can be anything, be kind."
Happy tingling,

I was also jealous of everyone who had an easy pregnancy. I also drank coffee when I needed it(difficult job), also faced judgmental remarks from others about what I ate, drank, etc. I also decided not to breast feed and dealt with the super judgy nurses at the hospital. Wanted a girl bc females were more familiar and comfortable to me. Had a boy and felt very unprepared and clueless about what a boy might need from his mom. Birth did not go according to plan and he came early due to cord being wrapped around his neck 3 times. Also got medicated due to postpartum anxiety(couldn’t eat or sleep).
All this to say that I’m ten years in now and it does get easier. My son and I listen to you all the time at night to get to sleep. He is healthy(healthier than most of his breast-fed peers), happy, and loved.
You are brave, strong, and real. You are not alone in the “pregnancy was rough” club. It’s hard to ignore those “perfect moms”, but that’s really all you can do. You have to do what you think is best for your child, and there is no perfect parent or perfect child. You will make mistakes, but it appears to me that you are self-aware enough to know how to learn from them. That’s really all any of us can do.
Thank you for sharing your experience and trusting us with your story.❤
