Fausto Trejo Fuentes was a professor and psychiatrist who stood out for defending his ideals of social struggle and for his participation in the 1968 student movement. In this testimony, recorded by the Tlatelolco University Cultural Center in 2007, Fausto Trejo recounts his family roots, his early involvement in the Communist Youth, his participation in the student movement as part of the Coalition of Middle and Higher Education Teachers for Democratic Freedoms, and how he experienced the repression of the Mexican state during those years, both at the beginning of the movement and during his experience on October 2nd in the Plaza de las Tres Culturas (Plaza of the Three Cultures).
