We took a WRX S4 (Applied D-type GT-S) for a thorough racetrack test to thoroughly check out the Lineartronic's shifting feel and directness!
While there were a few minor complaints, switching the SI-Drive to S# proved once again that this transmission fully utilizes the 300 horsepower engine!
Taking into account its durability, compatibility with EyeSight, and ease of use on snow and ice, we were reminded once again that this is an extremely well-rounded transmission!

運転している顔もいいですね。
S4欲しいですが、年金＆バイト暮らしの自分には資金がキツいので、レヴォーグがモデルチェンジするの待って、1.8LSTIの中古を狙っています。
5ATのブリッピングコントロールは良かったですけどね、ウォーンって鳴るエンジン音が好きでした。
実際乗ってもいない人が大多数ですよね。
また車速とタコが合わない！って騒ぐ人も
昔のMTの感覚から卒業出来ていないだけ
(私もMT派なんで気持ちはわかりますが)
電気自動車の時代どうすんのよと。
CVTはこういう特性なんだと思って乗れば
これはこれで味のある乗り物だと思うんですけどねぇ
