Seeing Federer raise his level here after such a shitty 2013 was so refreshing as a super young kid just beginning to follow him. This tournament was probably the best he played since like 2012 Indian Wells or even earlier

The main conclusions I can make comparing this match to their match in 2012 AO is that:
- Federer is more aggressive and hitting the ball harder, and
- Murray is lot worse after his back surgery and his backhand is nowhere near as hard and flat.
That's the difference between Murray winning in 5 and Federer winning in 4. Massive margins shifting there.
