I’ll keep my 219- just picked up an 808- very happy with it

Good, fair, complete comparison and review. Subscribed.

That's a great collection of radios.  I like the suggestions on what changes you would make to the XHDATA D-219.  It would make a great radio even better.

$9.91 for the Wenpzeray Y-706 back in Jan 2025, $11.96 now. That is the radio that led me to discover RRC thru Todd.

Generally-speaking you can't  go wrong with a XHDATA radio!

Thank you. I feel my D219 is a better radio.  I have had good experiences with XHDATA, but I'm not impressed with the D228.

I bought an auction lot of 4 radios and 1 of them is the Xhdata D-328. This makes me wonder how the D-219 and D-328 compare to each other. Since I have both, that might be a good project for me to try. Clearly the D-219 is superior to the D-228.
