I'm watching this video for the second time. Because I can't believe how easy it is to install.

One of the best "how to" videos I've ever seen .....   excellent job .... subscribed !

I just picked one up yesterday.  I'm going to get the marine epoxy today.  Should have it all done by the weekend.  Great install video man.  I really appreciate it.

Thanks for the vids dude they help a lots they charge way too much at the shop to get things done

Nice, thanks for sharing. 👍

I know "this guy" (that's me) always exists...but man, this could have been a 7 minute video!

Thanks,  looks really simple and doable.  Dealer wanted ridiculous crazy money.

Love your tattoos bro!

Very good video nice how to and troubleshooting part.

Hope to add one to my seadoo soon as well. Tampa bay intercoastals are shallow!

Nice, now you should add a different wheel in the supercharger to make more boost!

Hey Deric … Enjoy all your videos, appreciate the effort of explaining in detail to those of us with simpler minds

I recently purchased a 2024 GTX 230
and would like to install the depth finder
in the same manner
In doing a preliminary check, I’m noticing a few differences in mine
(Hoses & Electrical Connections)

I’ll be reaching out to my local SeaDoo Service guys to ask about those and if they impact the installation
(Online instructions are very limited & not up to date)

I can report back any findings after my install

Thanks for the help. I just installed it on my 24 rxt-x 325. Same thing, nothing even when adding the bucket though. I didn't want to wait until I took it to the lake, I took out the depth finder and stuck it over a bowl of water and it worked. On the 24 the depth is on the left guage in the middle. I hope this helps someone as your video helped me. Thanks!!

I wonder can you still use riva nanotuner with this installed?

Good video, like how you took the time to clean up all the wiring.  All transducers have to have water to work correctly.  The easiest way to test is simply on the ramp while still on the trailer.  The wiring connections were fine.  The adhesive of choice is 3M 5200.  FYI for those that are running a SCOM, you cannot use this finder and a SCOM.  You cannot piggyback at the diagnostic port.

I'm waiting for mine to be delivered so have watched a few videos now but yours has the best lighting and is very clear on where it goes and which way around, so thank you.  Also, at 18:50, that advice about not putting the bracket to close to the centre ridge probably saved me from a big disaster :-)    When you put the gel pad in, however, you put the side with the clear plastic onto the sensor.  In another video, he peeled off the foam/white pad first and put that side onto the sensor.... does it matter - are they actually the same ?

You could just use Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200 Fast Cure correct.

I heard this only works at idol speed

Hello! Great work and video! Can you tell me if it only shows depth or fish as well? Thanks for your reply!

Getting ready ro do this myself. Did the gel sticker come with your kit? I've seen a need for a cup of water or somehing similar under the sensor for it to work. Bet your work and connections  were just fine. Ive also learned if you plan to run a SCOM, you can't have both running to that data port. Speed control would need ro be removed at ECU so depth could use the data port. Thanks for the great video 👍
