Were there always that many enemies in hardmode? only up to the second area and it seems like they just put everybody in there

Playing the mode where you can't get hit with the restriction of not being able to use "you can't hit me"

Out of all Castlevania's alternate modes, I still think that Albus's is the most fun and unique.

The Death Chronicles

The reason why you (almost) always did more damage than you expected at first, and the advantage of Ecclesia over Portrait, is that you still can sort-of level up: elements do more damage the more you use them; in the theory, you could grind the frick out of all your weapons to the point of making the cave something acceptable; if anyone really, really, really, really, really hated themselves, Richter/Maria and Axe Armor at Lv1 exist.

I don't remember what the touch screen in ooE for Albus but if it's to use his "You can't hit me" thing then I made Level 1 hard mode way harder for myself by not using it ever.

This is your most relatable video so far, and even then you managed to beat the game under 3 hours, lol.
