What If The T Rex Never Went Extinct?

Imagine a chilling world where the giant asteroid missed entirely and dinosaurs never perished. In this video, we explore a fascinating timeline where dinosaurs survived the Cretaceous. Would these giant dinosaurs evolve into coordinated pack hunters, towering snow beasts, or tiny island dwarfs? If these apex predators remained, our planet would look completely different. Mammals might never have taken over, meaning the endless age of dinosaurs would strongly prevent humanity from ever existing. Dive into this thrilling scenario to see how the continued reign of dinosaurs changes everything we truly know today.

Welcome to Coso Science, your gateway to the forgotten worlds of prehistoric Earth. Travel back millions of years to witness powerful dinosaur species, changing continents, ancient oceans, and the dramatic events that transformed life on our planet. Through cinematic science documentary storytelling, we uncover the mysteries hidden in fossils and reveal how prehistoric creatures lived, evolved, and disappeared.

Discover the past. Understand the Earth. Explore the age of dinosaurs.

In that movie "Don't Look Up" I thought the best ending would have been that the asteroid misses Earth by a whisker then forward 36,000 years when the rocket the president ran away in lands in the target planet they find it's already inhabited by humans, humans that are 36, 000 years more advanced than those chickenshits that offloaded their spaceship and they realize they ran away for no reason and they learn from accessing their Wikipedia page that President Twaddles and her rich boytoy's names are mud on Earth, as the president that shirked her duties.

What about Evolution? It applies to every form of life including grass and trees. No animal can remain unchanged for 66 million years. A T-Rex wouldn't be a T-Rex after a couple million years. This doesn't even work for a hypothetical scenario. Jurassic Park worked as a great movie because the dinosaurs were brought back through pseudoscience. But the movie remembered that every animal is a predator or a prey, and the predators can't survive on their own. They need a reliable and plentiful food supply. Your What If is sloppy.

What if it never went extinct? It would mean the Earth is a completely different planet from what we know, and the other dinosaurs didn't go extinct either, and the asteroid missed. The scenario you're describing requires the T-Rex to continue to survive unchanged for an insane amount of time, which is not how it works. I was writing this comment and noticed you seem to have started making more sense toward the end, but the title still seems to have entirely forgotten about Evolution.
