Here before the first 10 seconds are claimed by bandai

A word of warning to those about to build this:

The double sided stickers for the chest clear piece are waaaaay stickier than the usual Bandai foil seals. They are super hard to remove cleanly if you misalign them or want to swap them out.

I suggest using tweezers when sticking them on for perfect alignment, and expect the sticker to be destroyed if you intend to replace it.

Holy moly the fact that this has almost a full internal frame is insane, I knew they were really pushing the mold forward with this new line but I didn’t know it was going that far

When Mecha puts an emotional scene from a specific Gundam Series into the intro, y’know that Gunpla he’s reviewing is the real big deal.

edit: Fixed one of my written errors on my comment, wrote this to let you know

This thing really feels like the pay off from when we saw what they were doing with the HG Moon Gundam a few years ago. Wicked looking kit, I'd love to get one.

Really amazing to see just how far HG kits have come over the years. I swear this one almost looks like a RG to me. Definitely looking forward to grabbing this one myself!

The name is Lfrith, as that is a Watership Down reference, it's just written as Ruburisu in Japanese because that's the best approximation of Lfrith you can get with Japanese phonetics.

Words genuinely cannot express how grateful I am for you using a walnut in the size comparison. That was by far the clearest representation of the Lfrith's size.

Thank you so much.

Episode 0 actually made me cry a little. Other than a few of the original first season's episodes, witch from mercury is my first time watching gundam after getting into building mecha kits/gunpla and I wasn't expecting it to be this intense.

Gunpla technology have come a long way

If this kit was released in 2015 and under, there will be a lot of color correcting stickers in this kit

The Witch from Mercury is definitely different from the other Gundam series. I love the MS designs and plot. Very excited to see the new kits released in the series.

I really like how it looks because it break so far from the "standard" gundam design. Also it gives me the vibe that this could pass as the final evolution of the police robots from PatLabor, cause of the bunny ears.

i dont think ive ever seen a high grade go this hard before.

It's amazing how much detail they shoved into such a small kit, it's almost like a real grade. you bet I would love to get this kit no questions asked~!

This feels like such a culmination of the last decades worth of HG lines, can't wait to pick this and the Aerial up.

My body is ready for this new series. That prologue was simply not enough.

I’d say this kit makes me extremely hopeful for the whole new line and while I like the G Reco line I feel like the Witch line is what G reco was aiming to be, very advanced sci fi designs with simplified builds but no dropping of quality for the kits

Comments about the main kit aside, the Lfrith with Phantom backpack was absolutely exquisite !!!

Having built this as only my 5th kit ever this is easily my favourite, even over the MG Astray red frame kai and RG unicorn Gundam. Incredibly easy to build, looks amazing, the articulation is fantastic and the overall build once complete is so solid. I'm not afraid to touch it for fears of breaking it or having something fall off just by looking at it. I know this is a weird thing to be picky about but I love the look of the feet on this, almost every kit I have the feet are just...eh. also another thing that this kit does right that most other kits I've built just seems to feel wrong are the hip joints, maybe because the first kit I ever built I broke the hip joint and I've always been concerned about that since but this just feels and looks fantastic. I'd say this is the ideal beginner kit and has enough room for the advanced builders to really customise!

So, the bits-on mode technically makes the bits acted as additional verniers like those all over the body of MSes in Thunderbolt... Nice

I fell in love with it the moment it was shown and now it looks even better. I'm happy bandai seems to be upping their HG game, I hope they do continue this level of quality even for revive kits. And as mentioned in this video, yes I'd like one!
