My man Chris Martin a.k.a the phantom!!

Danny Morrison's last act as a test cricketer was to survive 133 balls to save a test against England with Nathan Astle. He was dropped the next game. At one stage he held the world record for most ducks, but was overtaken by Courtney Walsh. To be fair, he played more at number 10 than 11.

Chris Martin was awful. Adding to the comedy was his bizarre decision to wear Aero pads. Definitely worth looking up an image of them!

0:50 I really appreciate Jarrod's need to check the choice of word. It's life lesson to any 'argument'

Surely Devon Malcolm and Phil Tufnell should appear in the Walsh-esque 'comic batting' no. 11 category. England were absolutely blessed in that era, Mullally had his moments as well.

I once played in a t20 club game in KCCA karachi and danish kaneria was opening the batting. He scored 152* that day.

Most improved and yet Iconic No. 11 - Bumrah. Averaged 1.55 after 10 tests with 5 ducks. Currently, after 36 tests averages 7.32 (his best) with an incredible 19 ducks.

Behram: "List contains best and most iconic number 11s"
Jarrod:"Those two are different things"
B:"Yes that's why list should contain most iconic"
J:"I think it should be combination of those things"
B: FFS............

Wellingtonians know - Ewen Chatfield. The master. Everytime he came out to bat at the Basin he got a standing ovation. I saw him hit a six in club cricket. He was fascinating to watch. He couldn't bat, but he tried sooo hard. Coney and Akram also know.

With Jimmy he’d get a huge cheer every time he came out to bat because we all new it was basically over and just let the jimmy anderson and don’t take me home song go
One of the most fun number elevens

Courtney Walsh, Chris Martin, Murali, Chandrasekhar, McGrath were the 5 most iconic number 11s. Worse batters than this lot- Monty Panesar, Prasidh krishna and Natarajan, Pradeep

Dilip Doshi was quite terrible. Harsha Bhogle often mentions a story told by some Indian batter that if you made an 11 of number 11s, Dilip Doshi would still be batting at 11 in that team :)

Should of had Gus Fraser who used to come out with a bat with no sponsor so had his own design on the back

Leach also had the highest partnership between a number 10 and 11 in test history and made 92 when opening as a night watchman
Not as iconic but still an achievement. The cultural iconicness of specsavers really makes the story even better
