Hi kids . An old American here . Been watching your show for years . Bus build , stop don't start pulling it apart until you have a plan . Those big overhead compartments for example . There typically very strong . You could put cupboard doors on them and use some or all of it. For storage , kitchen cupboards . Slow down and think things through . The seats are a pretty blue . Leave one and turn one around . Build a table between them . Dining booth done . Hino is Toyota bus / truck division . There sold in America too . Decent reputation . Marv Farley
well done on winning!!! I only ever bid at the end....last 10 seconds so I don't push the price up!! this is going to be an awesome build.....happy times y'all!!!!
I used to bid often on ebay . I would only make one bid. I had previously timed how long it took for a bid to go through , which from memory was 28 seconds. I would type out my bid , then hit the bid button with like 30 seconds to go. Leaving no time for anyone else to out bid me.
Awesome! Can’t wait to see what you create. Remember don’t make it tooooo heavy. Some I have seen add so many extras, heavy fittings and fixtures moving it costs a fortune.
Can Not F88king wait for this build ! Let me know if I can donate a diesel heater for you guys! Tap it into your tank ! Your laughing!! Id start with the bedroom so you've got somewhere to stay and you'll know where you want a room first off !! Love it guys keen as to watch this !! 😀 hit me up ill send you a diesel heater !!
It's been a ride since the trip to Tasmania. I can imagine there have been some very stressful moments. Fuel prices changed your plans, and you've jumped into this new project with a great attitude. Fair play for taking it so well, it can't have been easy.
We'll be here watching in this next chapter :)
Hi from New Zealand Another great video with great information. Wow you 2 definitely don't sit still you are already on the next build. I don't know really what to do but make sure that you use victron as your electrical system and a diesel heater. You definitely will have enough room to have 1 or 2 bedrooms bath room kitchen dining room and a lounge, maybe a pool room. Have fun building it. Have a great week and keep the great videos going thanks Jono
Picked it! You are going to have such a love/hate relationship with the build 😂. There’s a lot of good advice on taking your time with the build to work out a suitable layout on the comments already. Excited to see the build ❤.
Hey you two, congrats... you are going to have so much fun... Re; Fit out... We had a 32' Bedford bus here in Aus... it had a centre hallway down to the main bedroom... if we could do it again, we would have a side hallway so that the bathroom and toilet area could have been bigger and it would also have given us an L shaped kitchen... We bought ours fitted out and we were never really happy with it... Please try to have a free standing bed, putting sheets on them suckers are harder than a 10K jog... So looking forward to seeing what you end up doing.... Cheers for sharing...
This is going to be so much fun to watch! All in! I have no doubt about your capabilities. Plan plan and replan. I'd be keeping some of that overhead storage though. It will come in handy. Cannot wait to see you do this.
I would get a interior designer involved ! Get it done on a 3D plan ,clours , materials, cinnema room 😃, shower and bath tub! 😁 long cafe loung seating ! Mood lighting! Im so excited for you guys 😀 and honestly, i wish you guys the best with what ever plans suit you guys at the end of the day ! Its you show ! Good luck 😉👍
Omg CONGRATULATIONS 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 IM so Excited for you. I'm currently building out a 33 seater Mercedes Vario in Melbourne, waiting for the electrician to be done. I've got a 23kwh Renogy system with shadow flux panels.
To stop from overwhelm I've designed "room by room" What materials I want ect and putting it all into a book a step by step for each room of what has to be done. I'm not using gas. Because I'll have more than enough power, There is a couple that have a bus a big bus in Australia that are friends with the "Kendall and Glen" YouTube channel.
I don't know if any of that helps.
I know my mechanic won't roadworthy it unless my electric's were done by a qualified, and I can't register it without a roadworthy. I don't know if that applies to everyone. All the BEST you've got this Cheers Kristie 🎉🎉
