Armenia is searching for new weapons, mainly kamikaze drones, and it is looking at new defence partners for this deal. As per Armenian media reports, India's Divyastra has been selected by Armenian officials, citing low cost, AI compatibility and Swarm Attack capabilities. The Divyastra is a long-range kamikaze drone made by an Indian firm based in the city of Lucknow. The Divyastra is a family of drones with three main versions, the Divyastra Mk-1, Mk-2 and Mk-3, with Mk-3 being a jet-powered drone. If the deal materialises, Armenia would increase its India-made arsenal. Yerevan already operates the Pinaka, ATAGS, MArG, Akash, Zen, Swathi and ALS-50 that are made in India. Hem Kaur Saroya tells you more on Vantage on Firstpost.
