I was disappointed the BBC didn't put out a proper tribute programme to him.  This was channel 5.

Mike Yarwood one of the greats! Went to some of his TV recordings & watched all his shows. His Steptoe & Son portrayal is absolutely brilliant!! Rest in peace Mike. 🙏 ❤ 🕯

One of my favourite entertainers of all time. Thank you for the many memories and laughter Mike Yarwood!!

An absolute genius and will never be forgotten

He was BRILL.
I always wondered what happened to him.

Wonderful memories and an inspiration to those of us who followed after him.  We are hugely in his debt.  One of the greats.

A consummate professional and a lovely man. One of those comics who can have the audience rolling 🤣 with laughter without any screw-ups Enjoy your rest Mr Yarwood ❤ 😊

God bless you Mike, you were a true genius so thank you for the laughs

He was brilliant

On Esther  Rantzens afternoon show, with Mike as guest, Janet Brown said she never saw him drunk but ,as a observor of people , she notice he twiddled his short hair when nervous. mike then noticed Steve Nallon in the audience, who was a helper on his Thames TV show  & enthusiastically asked HiM to do Alan Bennett.

So very talented. If only he knew how well received he was, maybe he would not have had the need to drink?

Benny Hill was the pioneer of split screen comedy. Check out his version of Soap Box Jury. Classic!

Mike and Ade, with Adrienne Posta
