Well done !! Yes you are so right about the value of a monochromatic or bi-chromatic (?) color palette. The transparency  and  unfettered flow of the inks makes a gorgeous design of organic shapes. Brilliant ! Can't wait to try and THANK YOU for sharing.

As Black is a shade it is made up of a number of solid Colours combined together.  Depending on what it is used on and with the different colours will appear!!  No two will ever be identical which is awesome...Great tutorial.

I think you are right on with working with one color - too often things get so muddy and subtly is totally lost.
