One hundred Russian tanks and armored personnel carriers burned in a tiny patch of land near Dobropillia. This patch of Ukrainian territory is now called the "Green Mile." The assault typically begins with a powerful artillery barrage. But the Ukrainian units holding the line aren't surprised by the cannonade. The surprise lies elsewhere—in the use of a new type of assault tank. These are "shaggy" tanks. They are nearly indestructible. And they're designed so that the extra armor doesn't interfere with turret rotation. Ukrainian drone operators attack the column. But the drones either fall nearby due to electronic jamming, or their shaped charges don't penetrate the armor—there are too many metal rods, chains, and cables hanging from all sides. That's why the "shaggy" tanks aren't afraid of drones.
