Just a note regarding Strongback rank 4 in survival.

Rather than allowing fast travel, it negates the damage taken from over-encumberance.
This only applies to survival mode.

I would add chemist rank 1; especially in survival mode. Being able to make your own antibiotics when needed is good, but refreshing beverage is crazy. It heals, removes rads, and cures all addictions without side effects like increased hunger thirst or disease risk.

The beauty of the perks is that you can pick and choose what you want. Every perk has someone who loves it because it fits their style, even those that are usually deprecated. Likewise, even perks that are almost always cheered have people that have little use for them.

When sleeping, hit cancel immediately. You waste no time and still activate the well-rested bonus.

Aquaboy is excellent in Far Harbor. If you're just standing or walking in water, you don't take radiation damage from any source including the fog, rain or barrels. Not just the water itself.

There’s nothing that stops the player from taking collateral damage.

Drop a few mines, pew-pew to kite the enemy…they’ll get in your way as you try to back off.

Molotov or grenade. Explosive weapons of any type. Especially explosive legendary weapons just as you fire.

I have become so aggravated by this “dueling” behavior (the jump-in-front-of-you) that I very rarely take any companions. If I do it for their perk, once it’s gained they go straight back home forever.

Great video.
One small recommendation to improve the videos, would be to hover the cursor over the perk you are currently talking about.

Now if only there was a perk that prevented companions from blocking doorways, or trapping you in corners.
Like if they didn't take damage from gun bashing but get knocked down to the ground instead. Allowing you to walk over them, but also Very satisfying when they annoy you.

Unfortunately even if you just have 1 base in fallout 4 the local leader perks is essential for a later date if you want to unlock all the work stations and store's for potential use at that base which is the rank 2 of that perk because you may want to install the larger chemical station or do away with a roasting spit that may be at that base and replace it with a cooker

Give all provisioners a mining helmet and laser pistol . That way you can see them and what they are shooting at when you are near them and they are being attacked! Plus the surveyor clothes are a decent option for them

Sleep more for the perk and make as much Squirrel stew as possible ! I have that perk working 24/7 to level up as fast as possible.

This is a tip that I personally pass to everyone. If you are going to pick a sniper or pistol focused character of some kind, then this applies to you. There is a bolt action rifle(that can be made into a pistol) in Concord, to the north of the museum in a house, get it. Head to Drumlin Diner and buy the suppressed pipe pistol. Now, after you mod the pipe pistol into a pipe rifle(or keep it a pistol), you can get the damage from the Crit that the Ninja perk provides with silenced weapons rather than waiting until some ridiculous level like 25 or 30 when they silenced weapons finally show up, and not just as high cap legendaries in a shop. It's an extremely useful tip for a sniper character as the experience gained becomes larger because of the damage dealt. Without it, you miss out, and heavily until you could somehow collect Reba, the legendary rifle, and use the parts from that and the Tinker Tom special providing that one has a suppressor.

Again, it's up to you if you want to actually be able to use the Ninja perk at level 1 for your silenced weapon characters for leveling up, or not.

1) Inspirational 2- Who in their right mind gives those idiots throwables?
2) Local Leader 1- This one is actually worth investing in CHA for.
3) Strong Back 3&4- Carry a stack of Quantums for instant AP regen
4) Scrapper 2- Straight benefit.
5) Demo Expert 2- This has helped me get so much better at judging throwable arcs in the early game.
6) Sneak 2-4 - Absolute necessity, we've all died to random landmines one time too many. Damn N-W Gauntlet
7) Aquaboy- It's overrated in Survival. Follow the waterfront & build Decon Arches in your settlements
8) Chem Resistant- Better tactics and weapons invalidates the need for chems outside of bartering
9) Scrounger- Another straight benefit. Ammo is always useful no matter the build
10) Lock/Hack 4- Waste of points. Bobby pins are easy to amass. Hacking can be cheesed or made easier by getting Science Bobblehead or the Close to Metal perk from Nick for an extra guess attempt. They do not stack unfortunately

Rank 4 of strong back in survival means you won’t break legs when over encumbered. If you have all 3 ranks of antmantium skeleton it doesn’t help. That’s a combat perk where you won’t break limbs in combat. If you have all 3 ranks of this perk you will still break legs when over encumbered. All 5 ranks of this is peak. 4 pieces of sprinters gear makes this better. Also 3 ranks of moving target. 3 rd rank uses 50% less AP also. This matched up with strong back rank 5 will have a slow AP drain. Makes survival better

I need aluminum. I wanted to upgrade all my power armor to the highest level, but I was only able to do like 50%. So now I am a scavenger for aluminum. I just wish I know which guns have it also to scrap to speed it up. My dog is so cute, I am always having to kill the enemies as they are swinging at him

I have that bug in fallout 4 where I have to set to fast respond. This means the bobby pins break 4 or 5 per box. So I eventually had to go to top master on the lock pick so I would not run out
