I have to agree that the episode with a young Ruta Lee was the best dramatic acting job done by Don Knotts in the entire series. It was a heartfelt and wonderful episode that was exceptional!

Ruta Lee was one of my favorite guest-stars on classic tv shows. Whether she was on a western or a comedy, she always made the episode better just by her appearing in it. Lovely lady...

Ruta Lee played Jean Bozwell the reporter in the episode Andy on Trial . She had good things to say about Andy behind the scenes on the set. She was on the Lucy Show. Have a good day bob

I remember her in all the episodes you mention, plus thanks for the reruns; I still watch her. Also, as a fan of many of the great westerns, I enjoy catching her in many of them.
