As someone who has never been to the US let alone the hood I thank you for these essential survival tips

#9 is why I only bump classical music in the hood.  Everyone who has beef with Beethoven is already dead

The fact that there's a 20 min video of how to not get killed in public is astounding

The fact that this is recorded with a smoke alarm chirping low battery in the background really sells it.

How to survive the hood:

Number 1: Leave

Half way through I started to realize that this video is 100% sincere. I just assumed I was watching skits, but they are actually handing out knowledge.

I am a white man from the heart of Europe. Thanks to your tips, I can now finally go on vacation in the Hood

How to survive in the hood:

Put batteries in your smoke alarm

As a white boy from the suburbs who spent 6 years delivering pizza in the hood, these are all great tips. As long as you’re calm and collected, keep to yourself, and walk with confidence, you’ll be fine. I’ve only had two negative encounters, the first was because I was lost and kept driving around the block looking for a house. About 5 or 6  dudes walked up to my car and asked what the problem is, all I had to say was “my bad, I’m delivering food and don’t come around here often, I’m not here for any trouble.” They just dapped me up and said not to drive around like that in those areas.

The second time, it was 2 AM and the streets were empty. I parked across the street from the house I was delivering to, and when I walked back to my car some dude popped outta nowhere with a knife and tried robbing me. I, perhaps stupidly, yet CONFIDENTLY reached for my waistband as if I had a gun, which I didn’t. Thankfully, that was enough to send the dude running in the other direction.

As long as carrying yourself the right way you’ll be on their good side. There was one area where people would literally holler out “Ayo white boy” and hype me up every time I came around once they knew my car, we’d always have a good laugh 😂

I’ve lived in a small “safe” little town my whole life. When I was about 21 I was visiting my girlfriend at her college in a big city, and I had to take the bus from there to the train station. I’d never been on a city bus before, had no clue where to get off or how to get to the station from there, so I just asked some people on the bus. They were all very helpful. One lady lived in the hood nearby and offered to walk with me. She told me a bunch of the same tips on this video. Told me to keep everything in my pockets and not to look at anybody. She also told me about how the hood led her to addiction but she found god and Jesus after so many horrible things happened to her and she was saved and beat her addictions. Still thankful for her to this day.

It’s the fire alarm beep that always gets me💀

This is so depressing...

Can I trust this guy telling me how to survive in the hood?

[Smoke detector chirps]

Forget that I even asked.

1:10 bro got the fire alarm beepin so I know this joint has real wisdom in it 💀

- you gotta dollar I can borrow?
- I only have cash, I don’t carry change
- man, that’s crazy
Lmaooo

LMFAO nobody is noticing the smoke alarm chirping every 2 seconds

Wow, people in the hood are so welcoming. Always coming up to you and asking where you are from and asking questions so they can help you out.

“Please don’t go through life thinking you can respawn”. Thank you!!!! ✊

Grew up on the latinoamericana hoods and this still legit an actual guide on survival
