Ah - so my favourite is a piccolo and not my own version of cortado after all! I might try the babychino, I'm often a bit liberal with the milk. Nice walkthrough 👍

Aussie/Kiwi purists will point out that the essential difference between a Long Black and Americano is that with Americano, you do the shot then add water. With LB you must always extract the shot into hot water, this keeps the crema more intact and gives a richer drinking experience (let's not go into mouthfeel though, as that would be too much, right? lol). A subtle difference, but a distinctive one. I'm an Aussie (but not a purist) living in the UK, and it's hard to find a good Long Black!
