This is the story of how one door completely BROKE Turok 2 speedruns. More specifically, the Any% category. This is how we got there.
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil was released on December 10th, 1998. It was an FPS game for the Nintendo 64, and a sequel to Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, for the same platform. Eventually, on March 16th, 2017, Nightdive Studios released a remastered edition of Turok 2, featuring a brand new engine and compatibility for modern systems. And this remaster is where the speedrunning scene really began.

LFGGGGG!!!!!!
On the black carts, one of the easiest ways to activate the glitch is double warping into the Lair of the Blind ones on a fresh save and running forward off the cliff. The game will freeze, but respawns you at the beginning of the stage with 0 health.

I haven't played FGO in a long time, but I had this channel here with all my branding and username and good stuff like that, and I didn't really want it to go to waste. I've still been streaming on Twitch, but haven't been making video content... until now. I'll be coming back to this channel, but rather than FGO content, I'll be uploading more general gaming content, speedrunning stuff, maybe edited stream highlights. Stuff like that.
