If you only teach your dog five commands, make them these.
Too many owners waste months teaching random tricks while their dog still ignores them when it actually matters.

In this video, we're breaking down the five most important commands every puppy should learn, the correct order to teach them, and why this system creates a dog that's calm, reliable, and ready for the real world.

I was against E-Collars for years, thought they were cruel. Till a trainer showed me how they work. Im 68 can't run, jump etc anymore and i have a malinois/ pitbull mix uncut and 2 yrs old. He's probably 97% good on his training but cats and bikes are his weak spots. I trained him to the E-Collar and now im 200% comfortable allowing him off leash pretty much everywhere we go. Even when he sees a bike or cat i just hit the bell and he's good. This has helped me keep him exercised and actually extend his training to better and more training and he loves learning.

I had 2 rotties and a chi/weenie with rottie coloration, called them my 2 1/4 rotties, and I trained them from day one.
I loved how they acted whenever someone knocked at my door - they would all charge to the door, bark 3 or 4 times, then, as a unit, they would all turn and look at me for direction. I could tell them "place" and they'd all go to their pillows and lay down and stay there while I answered the door, invited people in, and they remained on "place" until I released them. All 3 walked at heel off leash, recalls were solid. They were all hand signal trained, and responded to 11 different signals.

A "trained" dog is SUCH a pleasure to have in your life!

I’m an Arson K9 handler and the number 1 task before training them on accelerants is obedience training. These simple tricks are top tier! Thank you!

I didn't adopt my GSD until she was almost 7 months old. She was a stray, so she had no manners, had never lived in a house or with people. 10 months later and we're still working on socialization. But the e- collar has been almost magical. Her recall and general obedience are great. I almost never have to press that button at this point. She really needs to work on her heel though.

Using a Herm Sprenger brand only Prong Collar for decades, obedience training from puppy hood so they learn obedience before they know their strength is a must. They wear it HS Prong in public as they understand, their training and my ♿ they walk next to me, while still looking for threats to my safety.

Just a jingle of their prong collar gets them excited for training, or an outing. My boy gets excited and sits waiting for his e-collar to be put on as it makes an audible beep when turned on, and he can't wait for what I am going to do... More training, or supervising me gardening in front yard.

This is the 1st dog ive crate trained or had a prong collar for and they are both absolutely the most useful things to get . Tomorrow ile be buying a proper raised place board, i have a bed for him to be on when we eat and he doesn't ever get up but somehow manages to be 3 foot across the floor 😂

I am not sure when I subscribed to your channel, it's been a long while. We had to let our GSD cross the rainbow bridge in 2021 (bone cancer) and our Labahoula joined him last year (Cushing's).

We are in the process of rescuing a 6-7 month old GSD now and I can't tell you how helpful your videos are. It has been a long while since we have had a puppy and these are a great refresher.

Can you possibly do a day in life style video of puppy training? To see what a typically routine could look like? Thanks!!

Flashin the cash. 😂 Whether you’re a new dog owner or consider yourself quite experienced, you have found the right channel for excellent advice. I consider myself an extremely experienced dog owner and trainer and I have not seen one thing that I would disagree with from this fine gentleman. I really love this channel. 👍🏻🇺🇸

Whenever I pull out the prong and e-collars my dogs stumble over each other trying to get to me. They know it means something fun. Training or a walk or one on one time going with me somewhere.

The other day I had taken my 6 yr old golden-lab mix with me to the pet store. He was doing well and is quite the ham. However, just as we were heading to the door he wanted to make friends with a dog. I told him "leave it." It was the store dog and the owner was busy with a customer, otherwise we normally make new friends. My dog insisted on his way and received a correction from his e-collar. I felt bad, it felt like we were ending our trip on a bad note. However, as we exited the building, I looked down at him and his eyes were shining! I was surprised and relieved. He knew he needed the correction.

Thumbs up for this video! 👍 Really helpful.

On the other hand, seeing this puppy with cropped ears and a docked tail breaks my heart. 💔 It's a painful and completely unnecessary procedure.

Wooo! We had a vet appointment today at petsmart to get her last set of boosters, and alls we got from people was "oh my gosh she's so pretty and obidient" since we're working on automatic sits when I stop walking for her CGC certification. She did whine a lot though, and I guess she naturally does the competition sit, I really lucked out with this one

Also that prong works wonders! Who needs a harness anyways, the collar and leash is all you need
