Uneducated fools might be yelling at the screen but real fans know that the second Jack finishes a tutorial, the tutorial no longer exists. It's freestyle time.

Margarette infront of jack = "Let me in"
Jack calling the apartment
Margarette answering
Jack = "OK everything seems fine here"

It kills me he's like "Ah, you're not wearing a hat in your I.D. photo, so I better not let you in", but then "Oh, you have one eye in the center of your head? Better call the apartment to confirm you're not home"

Imagine living in this terrifying world where a skinwalker wearing the face of a friend could kill you at any moment, and your doorman is just frantically filing through papers, crying over the fact that you're wearing a hat.

Jack just casually declining entrance on the faceless "Gloria" instead of hitting the danger button is peak Septiceye lol

I was losing my MIND when Sean missed the TWINS.  He only looked at the first one the first time, then forgot somehow and only looked at the bottom one.

I think it's unfortunate that they don't specify about the hats anymore.
In the early access, there were appearance notes in the files, like them wearing hats usually.
That would help prevent some confusion? But I get how that was intentionally taken away to make it harder.
But it seems a little unfair because how is one supposed to know otherwise, with how subtle some anomalies can be? xD

The phone is there because sometimes the doppelgängers are perfect, with correct documents and appearance. In that case, you have to call to make sure they’re not already in the building, which is the most terrifying and realistic detail in my opinion. Everything may be correct except for the fact that the person is already home.

The way Jack over thinks to the point where he misses things is so relatable

I think what helped Papers Please early on is that it slowly added new mechanics and items to check as you went, instead of giving you everything to look out for on day 1

I dont blame Jack for the hat confusion.  The game used to have written descriptions such as "ALWAYS wears a hat". Most of them were pointless because there was photos that you could use instead so they were removed. Idk why they couldn't keep the hat sentences the same way they kept Nacha's eye colours

15:59 Jack getting the right answer for the wrong reason has me cackling. I was no no no don’t let her in the date is 1954 instead of 1955 but she got declined because she wasn’t on the list 😭

Jack not realising Selenne and Elenois are twins with opposite side moles and declining the doppleganger for having the very correctly spelled name 14:01 😂😭

This must be the Mandela effect because if you would have asked me if I watched Jack play not my neighbor I 100% would have told you yes

19:25 Jack calling Margaret, her answering and then him not realizing that the real Margaret is in her apartment made me want to cry😭

My favorite is when he called Margarettes apartment, Margarette answers, and he hangs up and proceeds to ponder over the documents like "I mean..these are both correct.."

The fact that Jack spoke to Margarette on the phone while the Margaretta doggleganger was right in front of him and he didn’t realize is sending me😭

Edit: yall please don’t argue in the replies, it’s not a huge deal I’m not offended lol, and I swear I’m not belitting Sean for not knowing how to play I know he’s never played it’s fine, I just found it really funny ❤

I like that the twins with the moles on opposite sides of their faces have 6996 as their phone number.

Not Jack immediately forgetting about the ID cards 😭

It's a funny mental image that Jack let in two Mclooy doppelgangers but killed the real one.

The first one gets there and is like "Okay, I'll just hang around until he gets home." Second one jumps him and they both realize neither is the real one. So they wait for him and he just... never comes.

Even if he wasn't employee of the month, it was a really entertaining video
