The Slipped Tag-Line Hitch is a hitch knot that I discovered quite a few years ago. It is meant as a fast tie hitch to set a tag line when doing crane work. I use this as a replacement to the Buntline Hitch for the reasons I discuss in this video.

How cool would it be (maybe to us dorks) to, after all these years, develop a new knot or hitch and then get to name it?! lol

If you go one hitch more on that half hitch and then complete the rest of the knot like normal; that becomes a very secure and tight, friction hitch. I think I invented I haven't seen it anywhere else. I like this knot I usually tie the falconers knot and the one I describe, which I'm naming it right now"The Twin Grip Hitch". Thanks for this one I might switch up!

Seems stronger and probably more secure in use, but how does this compare to the Siberian Hitch?
