I think this video of you guy’s actually fishing are very helpful. You show perspective while on the water and what you are thinking.

Wow, an amazing tutorial video. And I actually used some of your techniques from this because I have similar streams and brooks around. You guys nailed it with the right combination of how-to and visuals. Need lots more of these video tutorials!! Very easy to understand and then go and put it into practice guys. Now we need one for still water and large rivers and maybe some out of country like Argentina!? Or New Zealand!? Planning to go out there in the near future to try my luck!? But real good work guys… can't wait for the next video.

when you were fishing for cutthroat on the second stream, I’m going to make a strong suggestion that they were not eating Tricos. Trico’s don’t hatch in the middle of the day, but during the night and that’s why you never see Trico Dunns, but frequently see Trico spinners early in the morning and sometimes in massive numbers. It’s also why you don’t see the Trico Hatch or emergence but rather always the spinner fall. I think Alex was dead on when he said I think they know we’re here. Yes they did and in flat clear water like that. They’re pretty likely to know when you’re there unless you make really long stealthy presentations that are way upstream or way down and across stream. You ask for feedback that is not always praise and not always complementary which you can probably count on me for providing, but hopefully it’s helpful in my opinion in that situation, even though I believe you both caught your cutthroat on the dropper I believe you were also getting drag(micro) that wasn’t noticeable enough to see and that you especially with the cannabis and fish rising would have had some eat if you would’ve clipped your drop her off and fish just the dry. Don’t get me wrong. I love the dry dropper, but I didn’t hear any rule that said you couldn’t fish only half of your rig, but that you couldn’t change either of your two flies and when you’re on flat water, you will never get as good of a drift with a dry dropper as you would with just a dry.
Now for the positive as always, you guys do a phenomenal service to novice, beginners, and even intermediate fly fishers and I love the format. You do it with great skill, you keep it light and fun and I love the “on the water” videos where you’re practicing what you preach and showing how you do it. So, even though I might have a suggestion or even on occasion, a helpful critique(very easy to do when you’re sitting here watching it and not the one making the video) I’m clearly consuming your content and I’m actually a fan so keep up the great work guys!
