Every song from this concert is absolutely fire!

I was there 1994, yup I was 23 yrs old then. I am 54 now. And you seen it Pink Floyd they don't make music , they create magic
The best concert in the world.

That was NOT Roger Waters, it was Richard Wright.  Waters left the band around 1985 (after the Final Cut album) and the bass player, Guy Pratt, is married to Wright's daughter.

The earliest incarnation of the band was in 1963, when it was known as Sigma 6.  The band underwent 6 name changes before becoming The Pink Floyd Sound in 1965.  The 'Sound' was later dropped and, finally, the 'The' was dropped in 1967.

Best concert of my life. All tunes jam.

No rap or back track here.  Just pure musical talent with instruments and vocals.  Pink Floyd was formed in 1965.  This performance was in 1994.  Roger Waters had quit the band by now; he wasn't here.  David Gilmour on lead guitar and vocals.  Rick Wright on keyboards and vocals.  Nick Mason on drums.  (original members)  Thank you for not stopping the video during David's guitar solo!!

Do the same concert.. Shine on you crazy diamond. GREAT GREAT GREAT song.

I've seen Pink Floyd four times in three different decades including this concert!
Here's what you would get at this Pink Floyd concert: 233,000 watts of power, speakers on all sides of the audience including above, on both sides, behind and on the stage basically creating a giant set of headphones for the audience for absolute perfect sound!  All that power projected through speakers and lighting. The secret is they only turn the volume up a little over 2/3's of the way so there's ZERO distortion!! You could still feel your insides vibrate from the power and the hair on your head standing up!!! And then finally you have some of the most incredible music and deep lyrics you could ever imagine in an almost 3-hour concert!!! Comfortably Numb was the second song in a three song encore!! Try the final song "Run Like Hell" from the same concert if you want to see how to close a show!!!

Saw this tour in Philly. Truly mind blowing

best way to listen to PINK FLOYD burn a bone shut the lights off and light a candle!!!

The stage for this concert; from the ground to the top is 5 stories.

Was there in Dallas 94. I got high and didn’t smoke anything!

The place was called earls Court in London and this particular show sold out for 15 consecutive shows!! It's seated about 20,000 people!!

Playing the keyboard is Richard Wright.  He's my favorite Pink.  :)

The venue was Earls Court, in London. It is now gone, but it held 20,000 people, and it was filled every night for fourteen nights of this same concert back in 1994. That's 280,000 people over two weeks! They were a wonderful band, a band that made people THINK. I saw them play in the same venue twenty years earlier than this one, when they launched 'Dark Side of the Moon', the album that really put the band on the map. And remember, they created all of this without much of the technology that artists have now.

You should watch ONE OF THESE DAYS from the PULSE CONCERT and SORROW from the PULSE CONCERT and GREAT GIG IN THE SKY from the PULSE CONCERT... pretty much the entire PULSE CONCERT is amazing

Great reaction.
Pink Floyd started in the late 60’s and reached peak popularity in the 70’s and 80’s.
It’s great to see new fans sit in stunned silence watching David play that final solo.

Roger Waters had to be administered a tranquilizer, under doctor supervision, to be able to go thru with the show due to severe stomach cramps, later diagnosed as hepatitis ...the song is about that, and some reference to when he was sick as a kid in comparison.  This was David Gilmours Pink Floyd.  He had to sue Waters, and won, to continue w/the PF name after Waters quit a few years earlier.  So the younger guy on guitar is taking Waters place.  "Learning To Fly' was co-written by David AFTER he won the lawsuit...he had taken actual flying lessons during the P lawsuit hiatus to confront his fear of flying...the song is plane flying references, BUT EVERY LINE IS A METAPHOR about David leading PF forward as solo front man w/out Waters.  The instrumental bridge in the song is actually the crazy hiatus of the lawsuit...and lyrics after that is David successfully leading PF forward w/out Waters..."I see my shadow fly"...."An eternal state of bliss".  The lyrics prior to the bridge "Across the ribbons of black"....unchartered "Waters"..."Ice is forming on the tips of my wings", no more PF for the time being

Yep, I was there. This concert was so good we had to see it twice! I've been to many concerts, this one is still on top! Felt the music for days. The sound system was unbelievable!  They had speakers all the way around the ceiling,  all around the floor, a huge pile in the middle and of course, on the stage(rotating). Like sitting in a huge headphone! These guys were the best!

Sorrow, High Hopes, Time, Money, Run like Hell, One of these days, All from the PULSE concert from Pink Floyd anything from this concert is FIRE! enjoy!

Congratulations great new network really good. And you proved it by not pausing once during a David Gilmore Solo. Great job I’ll be coming back.
